 Alpaca wool is harvested from the alpaca, which are kept in herds that graze at an altitude of up to 16,000 feet in the Andes Mountains of South America. Alpaca fiber is soft, durable, luxurious and silky. It is warmer than sheep’s wool, and has no lanolin making it hypoallergenic.
