Rug & Carpet Cleaning Services

Isberian Rug Company is proud to have Colorado’s only state-of-the-art rug and carpet cleaning facility. The products that we use in our cleaning process are 100% non-chemical, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, and safe for your children and pets.

Your rug is an important piece of your home that holds not only monetary value, but can also be of sentimental value. Without the proper cleaning facilities on site, most rug and carpet stores who claim to offer cleaning services will simply take your rug and then ship it off to an outside company where your rug is just one of thousands that gets processed. Without a deep understanding of the rug, especially given the variety of new synthetic fibers and color mixtures on the market today, unfortunately, too often the rug comes back permanently ruined.

Rugs are handmade works of art that can often be delicate and should never be treated with chemicals. By keeping our service facility in-house, we are able to monitor and track the progress of your rug from start to finish. We can identify the appropriate cleaning products that are safe to use, so you can rest assured that your rug comes back to you in better condition than before.

In addition to rugs, we offer in-home carpet cleaning services. Our mobile cleaning truck is fully equipped with everything needed for a deep clean of your carpet. Before and after cleaning, our technicians will carefully remove and replace furniture, returning your carpeted rooms to their original condition, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

As experts in all things related to rugs, from dyes to fibers, we can identify the best way to clean your rug, leaving it in perfect condition. The cleaning process at our facility is completely monitored from start to finish, so you can rest assured that your valuable item is being treated with care and attention.

Because the wool used in rugs is made up of 99% sheep’s wool, a chemical cleaning solution will ruin the wool fibers. The products we use are 100% hypoallergenic, non-chemical, and biodegradable. This eco-conscious choice not only makes it safe for the environment, it also ensures your cleaned rug is completely safe for children and pets.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Our cleaning process begins with a through dusting procedure that removes all of the dirt and grit that has settled to the foundation of the rug and is impacted in the fibers. The face and back of the rug is then cleaned in our washing facility with a non-chemical shampoo solution. The shampoo is then rinsed from the rug and extracted. If a rug is especially dirty or has extensive animal accidents, we will fully submerge the rug in our pit wash where these issues can be addressed thoroughly. The rug is hung to dry in our dry room that is enclosed and temperature controlled for maximum efficiency. The final stage of the cleaning is grooming; the rug is brushed, fringes combed by hand, and loose threads or tufts are clipped. The rug is then rolled and wrapped in heavy weight brown paper to be returned to our customers.

We recommend having your rugs professionally cleaned at Isberian once every year, or as often as necessary. Keeping your rugs clean limits uneven and premature wear. It is also important to address any dog or cat accidents in a timely manner so the stains do not become permanent. Allowing your rug to remained soiled is detrimental to the fibers of the rug. Clean your rug as often as it needs to be cleaned because it cannot hurt to clean the rug often.

Stains can be tricky to treat on your own. We always say that the less you do, the more we can do to remove the stains. So, do not panic if you do have a stain. First step would be to blot up the stain using a clean white towel without any dyes (the dye from the towel can transfer to the rug when wet). Blot the stain from the outside of the liquid towards the center, so you don’t spread the liquid further. DO NOT scrub the rug or turn the pile of the rug. If necessary, use a small cap full of soda water to help bubble up the remaining part of the stain to the surface. Blot again with a clean section of the towel.

If the stain is not removed, call Isberian. We can come to your house and continue the treatment to remove the stain. However, it is important that Isberian is the first to work on the stain because it is easy to set the stain accidentally. If anything has been done to the stain prior to our arrival, it is possible we may not be able to remove the stain completely. The very best way to remove a stain is for us to clean the rug in our facility in Basalt. We are limited by what we can do in one’s home.

Yes, the Isberian carpet cleaning division is fully equipped to clean your wall to wall carpet in your home. Like our rug cleaning process, our carpet cleaning is non-chemical and safe for pets and children. We actually scrub your carpet, rather than just inject it with chemicals and extract like a typical carpet cleaning company. Because we scrub the carpet, we often get your carpets cleaner than other companies.

Commercial carpet cleaning machines often use harsh chemical solutions as the cleaning agent. These chemicals can damage the fibers of your rug, bleach out or bleed the colors of the rug and/or set stains. These machines also utilize hot water for cleaning which can cause shrinkage and damage to rugs and carpet.

Yes, we have a rug cleaning special twice a year in the spring and fall seasons. Our cleaning sale ranges from 25-40% off the regular price and usually runs for an entire month.
